Spc. Obray appears on Fox & Friends

Spc. David Obray, Army Reserve and Dept. of the Army Soldier of the Year, appeared on Fox & Friends this morning. Obray, along with Xavier Nixon, a high school football player from Fayetteville, N.C., were on the show to promote the Army All-American Bowl which will be held in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009.

Obray teamed with Fayetteville football player finalist at All-American Bowl

Spc. David Obray, the Army Reserve and Department of the Army Soldier of the Year, will be honored during the Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009.

In addition, Xavier Nixon, a senior football player at Jack Britt High School in Fayetteville, N.C., is a finalist for U.S. Army All-American Player of the Year. Nixon's parents both serve in the Army. His father is currently serving in Afghanistan.

The duo have been touring New York City conducting media tours to promote the game and the Army's Soldier of the Year.
